I will try to translate this into iengliesh as it seems to me that many in the Cape Colony did not read or understand what I wrote...... .....if you deliberately hold up riders coming from behind you are the rude one....... then those faster cyclists coming from behind may shout at them to remove their fat asses out of the way!!!!! Courtesy is NOT and has never been a one way street. I don't think the point is riders holding other riders up deliberately, but rather riders coming up fast and shouting comments behind you. What are you doing there if you're THAT competative?! THATS when I will get p'off and take my time. It has never happened though... but I have a cousin who's a really nice guy, but when he gets on his mountain bike he turns into an @sshole, also doing the shouting thing. I'm getting him around, but slowly. But, I have also come across plenty of riders who ride two abreast, knowing there's faster riders behind them. I've never shouted or even commented to these riders, but maybe someone should tell them nicely. My friend told me just the other day about a slow rider not even wanting to make way for the marshall on the bike - on a jeep track!

Yip, please post just a little more (read higher) than just the legs. It's just one of those things - you don't want to look at legs and wonder if it's male or female. Coz it happens. And then you feel like puking coz the cute women's legs are actually Piet's legs. And then you can't sleep for a couple of nights. Accidents happen, right?!

Not sure about the price (if it's good or not), but if you can, it will be well worth it to rather go for disc brakes. It makes a world of diff. I'd say it would justify paying that little bit extra. Free bump...

Yeah, mountain bikes will take you to nicer places. Plus think of everything you guys can do in the bushes... riding that is... on the bikes I mean... Had to ride a long stretch of tar on Sat to get to the good stuff - wondered again why I have a road bike in the garage. Motorists are just not nice to cyclists - end of story!

Hi Trackz! Surely there must be more pics?! I know of 2 pics of me - one going through the little cave thingy which I want - and there's only 200 odd photos on the website at the moment. Where's the rest? The photo's are stunning though. Like the diff take on angles etc.
