  1. i like the wooden wheel stands!
  2. hahaha that sounds familiar , in 2008 i did my first longer distance tri at midlands triathlon. I was on a Alu Schwinn fastback with 8 speed sora and clip on bars. Think i just missed swim cut off... One of the laaaaaassst bikes. I was passing TT bikes left right and center , had never seen proper tt bikes before. Needless to say the owner of a Cervelo soloist WAS not impressed when i came from behind and with all sincerity complimented his ride before passing him. It was the first time i had seen a AERO seatpost EVER! I thought it was so coool. (I had been a mtb'er for 8 years before living in a small town)
  3. Classic...my mate.... an ex hubber. he sat at the pasta party at his first iron man PE , chatting to an american ol toppie , discussing training. and he had lots to say about his training and advice to the old man. so time comes when every body stand whom are entered to race... then who have done two... who have done three... old man stays standing.... turns out he sat next to the person who to that date had done the MOST iron man races ever... hehehehe he was a little embarresed. i love reminding him. ANY way the next year he posted a 9:15 i think..

  8. it depends on wether the organisers decide to have a poloque.. not really a stage and not numbered as one either. SOME years the tour starts with a poloque other years they don't. the next stage is always noted as stage 1 though irrespective if there was a proloque or not
