  1. If only this "offer" would had changed from the apple-watch to something more practical such as a Garmin GPS watch / or bike-computer
  2. For all those who has strava and uses ANT+ HRM, please read this thread https://strava.zendesk.com/entries/22821681-Add-support-for-ANT-with-Strava-Android-App I've used my android cellphone (which can receives ANT+ data-signals) to records all my rides with heart-rate data on it. No need to burn money on another devices just to sync it to strava.
  3. This will comes downs to the definition of "Break-even".... If your definition of "Break-even" is to recover your club fee (R600), then many of the people (that's that club's member for this year) has done that;
  4. their hospitality area at that event was right next to the beer tent & the food-stalls With their spot having their own dedicated bike-parking area, not sure how one can lost sight of their hospitality area
  5. 94.7 race-entry also wasn't reflected on the RaceTec site, So it's very likely that the "CTCT" would do the same...
  6. There's just too many persistent moaners and whiners in the CTCT social media accounts that don't keep quiet until those people get something that "might" help them to get a race-entry... (and the race-organizers are too weak & yield to those "people") Many of us that do the Argus multiple times (or those who wants to partake the event very badly) would had the event entry-date drilled into their head and get the entry on the queuing systems on the day that the entries opened, first come first serves. everyone will wait for their turn & one will get the race-entry but for those who didn't get the race-entries & moans and whines to the organizers last year, some "might" have their reasons; but many (if not most) of those okes acts in African-time and cries fowl when things are not in their favors
  7. then one will have to live over the age of 110 to get into club 21.....
  8. Body-weight will be shifted more to the back with the smaller rear wheel-size... something that a 29" frame-owner can experiment on.
  9. Quite a pity that you've missed the hospitality area; The goodie bag from them are quite a pleasant surprise to all of the members (who had collected it ); The "money-back" will be paid back into the bank-account. but only the race-event that they've specified will be able to claim the cash-back.
  10. Maybe instead of thinking of the "shortened" race-distance, we (as the cycling community) can stretch our ride distance by cycling to the affected areas & bring aid to firefighters & assisting disaster controls that's on the field right now? something small: water, snacks, or if you're physically willing, bringing down some of the fire...
  11. except the duckhead who started the fire in the first place...
  12. If only we can find the perpetrator of this fire....
