Last year I got caught up in a huge bottle neck just after the first big clime, probably 8km into the race. Can this be avoided by trying to get over the first climb as quick as possible, or will there be traffic either way? Last year we sat there for probably 15-20 minutes, barely moving. It would be such a great single track if there were no congestion!

It's not the entries only that generates the R50mil, it's also other income such as sponsors and rider packages etc etc. But still, a lot of dough generated and definitely great for SA in terms of tourism, putting SA and the local communities on the map, creation of new routes in SA and all the rest. Def on the bucket list!

I visited Gecko cycles yesterday and they recommended I get the Fox shock which is compatible with a remote lock out system. Gonna cost me around R3000 for a second hand one, so not really worth it - the RockShock Monarch is pretty solid and I'll compromise a bit...

Thx. Yes, looking at remote lock out. Front is not that big of a problem cause I can reach down easily to adjust while riding but not so much with the rear shock.

Hi Guys I have a dual suspension and I wish it came out with a lock out system to avoid the hassle of stopping first to adjust the suspension. Is it possible to install the lock out for the front and back shock and if so, at what cost approx?
