This afternoon (3 March 2009) we're going to play unicycle hockey @ Thrashers (Now New Life) skatepark (Near Menlyn in Pretoria) from 17:00-20:00 if you interested give me a sms or ring at 084 392 8467 we have spare sticks and uni's you don't even have to able to ride we'll give some tips, a great place to start unicycling.... Thanks thanks... I bought the bike, and what a dream compared to my crappie Trek... I love it, found out that it has full XT components with Rolf rims I think, ok well they look cool so, and the frame is a large which fits like a glove, I have already ridden it about 150km in three days, cant get enough The only other thing is where can I find a lekke bunch of guys to ride with in pretoria in the brooklyn area??, I only know OneWheeled okes and they attract to much attention,hehehehehe??

I am quite new to mountain biking Ive done a few races etc but with an old trek, i want to buy myself a decent MTB later in the year but came across a GT Zaskar Race MTB, my question is if it is a good buy or not? Componenets: GT Zaskar Frame Deore LX brake setup?? Magura Hidrolic V brakes front and rear Shimano XT back derailler XCM Front shock The price is R2000 second hand...?????

Hahaha good one, of all the things I've lost in my life I miss my mind the most!!!! Well this is actually 36'ers so it has quite a bit of torque going down hills, and since it is NOT a freeWheel but Fixed hub you can imagine the stress it puts on ur legs, we have a brake on it to use as a drag to make it easier but it still takes some effort going down hills.

Well we didn't aim to do any top speeds since on a Unicycle consistency is the key factor, top speed was 32km/h best to date was 34.05km

3 of us did the whole 94.7 cycle challenge on Unicycles, what an experience, thanks goes to NedBank for making it possible and to raise funds for Reach for a dream!! You guys are great!!!
