    SALE

I am in the market for a bike. I have noticed that oversease stores have reduced their 2008 model prices by 25%. Do we get the same kind of reduced prices in South Africa and where? The best I could get so far at a LBS is 10.2% cash discount on a 2008 model.
  3. What options do Kaapies have? I would like a custom paint job

  5. anyone see the salt?
  6. Dopers should be allowed to race but only if they consume LSD before the race. It would only be fair to give them a head start. this should make road races fun to watch.

Do you want to sell anything?
  8. Be careful with the peanut butter' date=' there are a lot of fats in there as well... Eg: Nola' Yum Yum (what I have here...) per 100grams: 20.4g protein 56.2g fat (more than half of it is fat!!!) [/quote'] try the organic peanut butter from woolworths. have to keep it in refrigerator once opend, it becomes hard this way but its perfect for smoothies.
  9. waiting for the pic to load, I went on to read all the comments. Was really expecting to see a prototype of sorts
  10. 100%, it is for the fun of it all. Happy New year!
  11. ya sure, if that's the case they have to change the direction of the ramps as well. There is nothing like catching a couple of ramps while u doing insane speeds uphill.

    Post Office

what other options do we have in the form of cycling magazines. I am looking for a mtb magazine. I know you could find most everything on the internet but there is something about paging through a magazine that makes it better, maybe its the glossy paper.
  13. I would hate to get in the way of a guy coming down the single track. He has worked just as hard to get to the top only to be slowed down by me coming up the s-track. We all know that coming down the single track is the funnest part of your ride (at least for me it is). I figure it is the experienced guys that ride up the single track. I am certain most of them race. So is it really necessary to ride up the singe track? Do you ride up plenty of single track ( I refer to tokai style single track) during a race? If the single track has a ramp then you obviously need momentum to tackle it...crap when you come around a bend only to stop 3m from a ramp for a dude riding up towards you. Even if he gives way, you still have to slow down. If we cross paths on the single track you will still get a hello, morning and a smile. I think it is fair for people riding up the single track to move out of the way for the guys coming down, especially when the the directional arrow at the start of the single track is positioned at the top for descending riders and not at the bottom for ascending riders.
