Each of those bicycle shops has a cycling club and they cycle regularly in that area.They all agree that safety is of great concern to them and believe that they should become involved in making mountain biking in the Centurion area safer. I think that they all realise that if cycling is no longer safe people will no longer buy bicycles at the same rate.
Should have been initiative. I have already spoken to: Cyclelab (Dawid Labuschagne) Fritz Pienaar (Irwin) Epic Cycles (Andre Cordes) Pierre Mel(?) formerly of "DADS" I did not mention the hub. Each one of them was extremely enthusiastic and each expressed themselves to be more than willing to become involved. I now want to speak to the SAPS guys in Randburg who patrol on The Spruit. I will try to set up a meeting between all of the above and Director Andre Wiese at Irene SAPS.

Thanks everyone. It was great to meet some of the hubbers. Just sorry I couldn't join you on my bike. Maybe next time. A trip to the Spruit sounds like a good idea as long as it is after the end of April.
