  1. Thanks everyone. It was great to meet some of the hubbers. Just sorry I couldn't join you on my bike. Maybe next time. A trip to the Spruit sounds like a good idea as long as it is after the end of April.
  2. Hey!!!! The weather looks reasonable. Enjoy the ride and keep your pants on.
  3. I normally ride with a pressure of about 2.5 bar. Let's see what the others say. Will probably tell you that 2.5 is far too hard. I HAVE A PRETTY GOOD FULL SUSPENSION BIKE.jagwil2009-03-13 13:32:20
  4. Miskien is dit net n geval van punt in die wind.
  5. Sorry meant hub(bette). Punt doesn't seem to be having much success. Maybe too young and inexperienced.
  6. Not so sure if you can hub a hump , but I am sure there must be distinct possibilities to hump a hub(ber)
  7. Rather not.
  8. Now we wait for someone to ask: "Whats googled."
  9. You don't want to know about the hospital in Waterval Boven. My son Growler was there a few years back with a broken arm. (hang gliding accident). There is NO resident doctor. The doctor on call from the next town refused to come out. The strongest pain killer they had was Penado. We went out (at high speed) to fetch him and bring him back to Pretoria East for treatment. I think you would actually rather die than end up at that hospital.
  10. Not quite sure where Sanni Pass, Grakop and Sabbie are. Sabie, Pilgrims Rest and Graskop areas are good, especially the Forest to Falls race at Graskop. I have never ridden at Sani Pass. Knysna is good and so is the area around Montagu. Another good area is Karkloof in KZN. Clarens and Marquard in the Free State are not bad. jagwil2009-03-10 10:09:20

    cracked rim

    No not even that.
  14. glock? Naah, Mace and Glock not really necessary. Groenkloof is still reasonably safe but don't venture into Fountains alone or without Mace and Glock.
  15. And the most important of all: A girlfriend for Punt.
  16. Meat for the braai afterwards ?
  17. BEER
  18. Why is there this strange need to give things such as bicycles and cars names.????????????????
  19. That is basically what I said on page 18. { Originally posted by The Hawk CT A retailer told me personally that they wanted to fix RRP's higher so that the retailer margins could increase putting pressure on wholesaler not to supply retailer giving "good deals"} This is purely hearsay and unless the "retailer" is prepared to give evidence in person before the C.C. it is worthless.
  20. WELL DONE Skye for trying to be the voice of reason amongst the mob who just want a public hanging.
  21. GoLefty, Head was never in sand. I am aware just how much crime there is out there. I am still amazed at how quickly people judge and condemn others.
  22. This is all quite amazing. Despite the fact that South African Law is based on the principle that you are innocent until proven guilty, the majority of the hubbers out there have acted as prosecutor and judge and have pronounced these bike shops "GUILTY" without having heard all the evidence and without having afforded the bike shops the opportunity of having a fair hearing. It is actually quite frightening to see how quick most people are to judge other people and to cry for their blood without having all the facts.jagwil2009-03-06 21:06:25
