Did the Boland Gravel Monster on rambler 45's. Tar, gravel and even managed to pedal through a heavy sand section. Would choose the same again, but for muddy conditions, would consider the Pirelli mixed.

I went from xt10spd to deore12spd with sunrace 11-51 cassette. Front is a cheaper brand chainring with my standard cranks. Only a few months in, but great so far. It was a budget conversion but done right I guess by LBS and much improved the range and shifting speed. Was a bit cheaper than Sram NX kit and offered bigger gear range.

I know Dominic at www.summitbikes.co.za sells this unit and HR strap combo. Good price, last time I checked. Bought mine from another shop but bought my outfront mount from him. Happy with my unit 2 years going without issues.
