He's the only guy there with something right now. Based on the Lance Formula of pre Tour races and results that you need, Contador is exactly where he needs to be. (Disclaimer: Not a drugs thing, but Lance perfected the Tour build up in terms of races and where you should be at what stage of what race.)

Seeding is very important. I rode last year in a corporate group, and after they upset me, I rode on my own, two punctures and not a wheel to sit the whole way, and I managed a 3:10. So a sub three is real easy.
