  5. It usually takes between 1:10 and 1:30, depending on the route and who is riding. Come and check it out
  6. If anyone is keen to join, I do a mtb ride most weekdays at around 4:30 pm from Eagle Canyon to Ruimsig area and back. Usually get in about 30kms with 400-500 meters of climbing. Some really cool trails in the area but I wont touch them when i'm alone so it's always nice to get a group going.
  7. Thanx guys, Definitely going to give it a bash next weekend
  8. While riding the cradle this weekend I noticed that a awesome looking new trail has been cut alongside the R374 going towards the Lion Park. Does anyone know anything about it, start/end points etc.
  9. Thanks @Thug, I spoke to Jason and unfortunately they are not the SDG distributor anymore:(
  10. Does anyone know of a supplier in Gauteng? I found a online shop called bikebits.co.za that stocks SDG but they havent responded to e-mails or answered their phones for the past 2 days. Please help, myself and my bum would appreciate it
  11. This was my first 94.7 and I really enjoyed it, I started in Charity group CC. The vibe in the city and the support from spectators was amazing and as for the route, I think its fantastic. A few hazards along the way but it all adds to the excitement. As for the water point on a uphill I would rather have it there than on a downhill, people really don't look when entering/exiting the water points, add speed to the equation and it starts getting dangerous. All in all i loved it, got my heavy butt over the finish in a time of 3:21. Will definitely be doing it again next year and hopefully in a sub 3
  12. I agree. Vida 4 has just been replaced for 2014 by the SOLA 4, selling new for R6,200.00. Great looking entry level bike.http://www.silverbacklab.com/upload/2011_website_SILVERBACK/sola4_14.htm
