  1. Pre work? Post work? Would anyone be into this? (Road).
  2. Incredible album. If you like that sort of vicious death metal. I know I do.
  3. Anyone in SA stock size 14/15 mens road shoes? Not entirely happy with my current ones and would be nice to actually be able to fit something before buying. Problem being that people with my foot length are such a minority noone stocks anything. Not willing to drop cash speculatively.
  4. The problem is the bearing is obscured by the chainrings, I will try again monday. But yes, I too think it is time for the swinging press.
  5. Thinking of just breaking the bank and getting a super six frameset and building it up.
  6. Neither J.O.C. or Revolution have one, managed to use a bearing puller with a cardboard shim to prevent scarring of crank But now said bearing puller is too short to pull the drive side bearing from the axle. Anyone else have a clever idea?
  7. Yes indeed, well aware of the Chinese carbon option. Wasn't aware Black Spade was a rebrander too. Not yet decided if I want to go that route yet. Appreciate the tip though. Had the chance to look very closely at a "Chinarello" recently and was not very impressed by build quality. Unsure which factory it came out of. You guys are great.
  8. Thanks guys, some good ideas up in here. Brand loyalty means nothing to me but if I really had to start being awkward I might add that I hate red bikes, weigh 85 kg and want at least a 60cm frame. I do have some options on the table, but I was hoping for some external opinions, so far you're delivering.
  9. Because I've never owned or ridden a carbon fibre bike and I want one.
  10. It looks a lovely bike and it's probably a much nicer Alu frame than my cheap Planet X, but I intend to spend the next several paycheques on either a carbon frame to build up or a carbon "package" to get a discounted gruppo. The hunger has begun and I must have a new bike.
  11. Based on list price what would you folks recommend as ultimate value for money? Just curious.
  12. Good ad, love the no bull**** ethos, treat your customers with the same down to earth attitude and you will thrive.
  13. Person involved may ride a bicycle but is not and will never be a cyclist.
  14. Thanks for all the pms to bikes, been tricky organising the affair as I am not shopping for myself....
  15. . Sorry about the deleted reply, had a link to one but the link was broken minutes after posting.
  16. Do you understand the concept of a "questions only" thread?
  17. Do any bike shops want to employ me?
  18. They do. No.
  19. Anyone have one round the W Cape? Need to regrease and whatnot, creaking from bb. Or recommend a bikeshop that has one. Prefer the former though, skint and disconnected from local scene as yet.
  20. Ok, will do. Really appreciating the responses folks, recommendations are golden at this point. So dual susser back on table and will investigate Anthems. I just assumed that dual suss would be pricier and you'd get a better bike by going hardtail. She will mostly just be cruising around on the round with the occasional gravel shortcut I reckon. That said, I want her to have a bike to fall in love with and as a result cycling. How less comfortable could a hardtail be give she's only really likely to cycle on the road and a bit of non technical trail?
  21. Will keep my eyes peeled then. You can see I've been gone to long, I forgot how to spell "befok".
