  1. sigh. Here we go again.
  2. Good luck. I can't imagine what it's like but I feel for you. One day you will look back on this and wonder how you made it through.
  3. They're supposedly there for winter testing on the Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds. Big step. Don't think the F150 has the same real world accreditation that the Rivian does.
  4. With constrained travel for the intermediate future, demand should rise. I.e. the working holiday type workers will have completely dried up and so will have some other reservoirs. For the skilled and professionals in demand, it's probably going to be an opportunity.
  5. Don't pay an agent, unless you have quite unusual circumstances. It is clear enough for you to do everything yourself. Get your passports and birth certificates as soon as possible. Freshen up your Linkedin profile and reach out to companies and people in NZ.
  6. That's a prime example of very on trend and expensive lo fi graphic design. Or, they simply haven't updated their packaging in a while...
  7. I think they give values but typically underquote, sometimes horribly.
  8. I reckon it's the same thing here in Australia. House prices are going flipping crazy, like a million dollars more than reserve crazy.
  9. Past performance is no indication of future performance. Sort of joking. As someone else has said, you're playing the odds; they may be long or short but there's undeniably real risk.
  10. We used to do the Blyde Canyon as a child. Start at God's window and then end up at Bourke's luck. Absolutely amazing experiences. I think parts of it are now closed because of various incidents. One German tourist had his hand cut off for failing to deliver his watch with the appropriate alacrity. It is terrible. Here is Aussie there are lots of hikes though , but as someone else has commented, you miss the broader variety of wildlife. You will never come across a troupe of baboons, or startle some buck.
  11. Are those bodyboarding flippers you're using to get out? Genius.
  12. Option 2 also costs like $50k per parent.
  13. someone should build an analytics engine you can just plug your values in and which would calculate what the cheapest deal was. That person is not me; I'm an ideas man... Edit: Having thought about it for a minute, I actually think this offering complexity is a strategy in markets with good competition and ease of changing suppliers. You don't really want people to easily be able to compare and you also want to be able to engage your marketing and selling capacities. Hence bewilderingly complex offerings bundled up with whizzy and sexy marketing campaigns. If you could compare like for like with perfect information, as should be possible using the internet, you shouldn't even need to market your product if it's cheaper/better...
