  1. I like them a lot more than the standard XT or XTR ones. In gnarly situations they are easier to "find" and even provide reasonable support when not clicked in. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-B5SlN_kdqL8/Uk6ZKn6E3mI/AAAAAAAARbE/Iin8BFu4xFo/s320/CBmanual.jpg
  2. hmmm.... not sure if I would mount that. and a bit too pricey for me!
  3. Then you shouldn't have mentioned it....
  4. Well (un)fortunately the revelation in my OneTen29 broke. So I had it fixed and swapped it with something else: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7113/13242558354_eeddd21692_b.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7078/13242567594_0f494f891d_b.jpg
  5. Get another dropper. :-)
  6. Ah I get it; you're a bit leg-length-challenged compared to my giraffe legs For my next project (a 29er Zealous Division LTHT) I will also use a 1x10 with a OneUp in the rear and (if I'm not mistaken) a 32T at the front on a 2x SLX crank. As for the revelation. As soon as it gets back from sram I will exchange it for a Pike...
  7. Looking good! You made the right decision. But why did you choose the 100mm version? A tip: I've added a black noodle to the Dropper remote to make routing a bit easier: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3723/11465640354_0669f001d7_b.jpg And are you running a OneUp 42T in the rear???? I busted my Revelation last week so now I'm currently using a Fox which is planned for another project... http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7391/12498355003_742c5d97b5_b.jpg
  8. Already been Levving around some trails?
  9. Right choice!
  10. Woohoo! Love the Drakensbergen area! Rafted there once! And think I smoked a joint with a cop but not quite sure 'bout that. :-)
  11. Weather seems nice tho!
  12. Is it dangling in the middle?
  13. Think everyone is right. :-)
  14. Would you really drill a hole in your PYGA? And that location isn't the most suitable as all mud will be launched inside your frame. Besides: you would still need to route the cable along the downtube which is already occupied by the rear shifter and brake lines. Imho routing the cable externally along the top tube is the most clean and logical way. Besides that: i heard that a KS lev works a lot smoother than a reverb. ;-)
  15. When you look at the pascoe frame you see that there's an extra hole, probably for an internal dropper? http://m.pinkbike.com/news/Day-One-The-Bike-Show-Roc-DAzur-2013.html?trk=rss But why not go for the most excellent KS Lev 150? That external cable routing goes perfectly with a PYGA frame.
  16. Ah yes, you're right! http://www.pygaindustries.com/oneten29.html
  17. It's standard with a 130mm revelation. So the angle should be 70 degrees?
  18. I was too close to the water: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7337/11604552763_fbe7ee1ec1_c.jpg Still better than the couch!
  19. Cana Thanks: Answered you in a PM. and updated the cable routing of the KS LEV; added a black noodle: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3723/11465640354_0669f001d7_c.jpg
  20. Just finished my bike; added a black chain and a Jerome Clementz carbon handlebar: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3736/11350949854_f515d981c9_c.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7354/11351004273_99f85886c6_c.jpg more pics: http://www.vitalmtb.com/community/Doezel,27415/setup,23976?ptab
  21. Seen the Jerome Clementz handlebars? That will be the next thing to replace my cheap-ass Ritchey bar.
  22. I just calculated the amount I paid in Euros to Rand... I'm NOT gonna post that here....
  23. I carry all tools in my backpack (osprey raptor 14) besides that I used on of these: http://syntace.com/index.cfm?pid=3&pk=2601
