I recently purchased a set of KCNC Bearbone bar ends. When i fit them they either point inwards too much or outwards too much, anyone know why this is ????? Please help. Ark2010-03-01 13:39:08

i paid 7000 for mine new in 2007, and i think they go for about 10 000 now, so it's not a bad deal if the bike is still in good nick.

please excuse my ignorance as far as downhill goes, i am from jhb, no hills here, but is this bike of yours for downhill only ? the set up looks pretty upright to me ?

everytime i watch the new miway mtb programme on tv , they scroll an ad at the bottom of the screen to sms "bike" to 39436 for bike insurance, i did this and got a call this morning. the guy did not seem to sure about the whole thing & after holding for him for a minute or so he came back to me saying that they do not insure bikes only, you have to insure your household belongings as well !!! is it just me or is this a *** way of advertising this ?? does any one know of a company that does insure bikes only.

there should be a name & shame thread that is constantly updated or bumped so that we can all keep an eye on it !! just my opinion, use it, don't ......

ok, i pumped this thing 250psi, still no difference, but i notice that the shaft that sticks out is quite short as if the shock is not stretched out to it's full maximum when not in use. maybe it needs a service ????? should i deflate it & then re-pump it to see if it pushes out ?

oh ok, is there no chance of blowing any seals etc.. if i pump it too hard, cos i pumped it about 10 bar and it still sags about 60%
