Omnico scared of competition,maybe they will jack up their years of crap service and don’t give a damn attitude .

Their service and prices suck, sorry to tell you. They can’t compete with CWC and Evo. Tell you they have items in stock and then a couple days later get a email to tell you sorry we made a cock up and don’t actually have it in stock. Will never buy from them again and this has not happened to me once.

Must be something wrong with your petrol one because I’m on my second 1.6 PV in 12 years and it goes bloody well. I carry all my tools in mine and it has no problems.I get roughly 750km on mine but the diesel will get about 200 more then that. I just could not justify spending R35k more on the diesel motor and get the same specs as the petrol,it will take a long time to make up R35k in fuel saving.

Your trails are bloody awesome and happily pay the fees to ride there,sorry to say it but Holla can learn from you guys and Giba about how trails should be and not take the piss. Can’t wait for the Karkloof Enduro and hopefully you guys decide to run the SA champs there too.????

Sorry to tell you but the plus size fad is dying and has not really taken off at all. Trek has not had a great track record the last couple of years with distributors in SA and that has hurt them a lot so it’s gonna take a while to build up as you say. Let’s be honest most of the companies that come into SA will give the Road and marathon market their most attention first and then maybe look at the Trail /Enduro market,this is due to the type of riding that SA only promotes especially your big corporates.The excuses are the same from all of them”There is no market for those products” what BS are they talking when they don’t bother to do their homework and go out there and actually check. Look at guys like Trailtech who bring in Knolly,Evil and Kona , Lapierre,Santa Cruz, YT they saw the gap by doing what the others haven’t and bring in the bikes and equipment for the trail/Enduro market and they are showing the big guns that there is a market for all this.

We won’t see it here because the distributor won’t bring it in because they only cater for the Road and marathon market.#shortsighted

Not much is going to change they are still going to be too expensive compared to other brands.

Be prepared to cook in it,it's not vented enough for SA.

It's actually a 2inch hitch receiver which is a square tube receiver and you can get them but generally only for 4x4 or your off-road vehicle. The towbar guys have told me that they can do a modified one for a car with a towbar and yes you could have one of those made here but it won't be able to tilt or swing to the side.

Those are awesome pity we can't get them.

Put a trsr on the front and grips like **** on a blank and the rolling resistance is not bad at all and definitely won't change it to a trs+ that is for the rear. Raced Cascades and it's so steep there that you have to walk but I really did not find the rolling bad at all.
