    I am waiting for my new wheels at the moment went with Stan's Flow EX wheels.

    200grams not much loose it on your body,those mavic rims are sick though.One problem with them putting weight limits on the rims like max 95kg or whatever is what happen with your weight when you do a jump?

    Yea makes sense that,my max for racing is 50km and down and doing Enduros so there weight is not much of a issue,would be easier to to lose weight from the 98kg I weigh

    Dropper makes a massive difference had mine 6 weeks now and it has transformed my riding,but as they say different strokes for different folks.

    This is not the first time I have heard of this issue with Spez,LBS have told me they are a nightmare to deal with when it comes to frame warranties as well. Spez think they are a lot more Spez then other brands so if you don't like It buy something else,take it or leave it attitude.

    Problem do I try double butted spokes with what I have or now fork out a lot of money for a new back wheel and hub.Costs!!!!

    Thanks Sepia, I checked with Easton and they say there is no weight limit on the rims.

    Guys down here doing Enduros on Easton's with no Problems but they got some decent spokes on them.They say there is nothing wrong with 24 But you got to have them built properly,and make sure you get decent spokes.

    My plan was to have rebuilt from scratch,replace all 24 spokes with stronger spokes. Now I need to just find that proper wheel builder in Durban.

    Mine is a Full sus,keeps snapping on the J bend,my my lbs says maybe I must put DH spokes on.

    The wheel has had 4 spokes replaced in the last year,only about 18 months old now,don't think the build is a issue but the gauge of spoke that the factory put on.

    98kg they are just the normal XC ones that's all there is on them,I know they do not have a weight limit but the spokes do not cope with the stress.

    I have some Easton XC mtb rims,problem is I keep breaking spokes on the rear. What gauge spoke would be stronger to put on?

    I think the organizers should ride those sections out and see how much time was really made up and penalize them from there.1 hour sounds a bit harsh,but what difference does it make what we say anyway.
