  1. We had one of those Wired Haired ones as well on the farm. She could not resist taking a swing on the cow's tails - so much so that when they saw her they would lift their tails in the air - warthog style! But that did not deter her ? she just waited for a tail to drop to take her swing.
  2. I grew up in a VERY small dorpie called Northam (60km from <?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Sun City, direction Thabazimbi) - so no movie theatres. Had to order movies from Pretoria and watched them in the school hostel's dining hall - against a screen made of several bed sheets stitched together - and had about 4 intermissions during reel changes!! Those were the days... <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Anyway movies watched in the dining hall (to name but a view) ? Liefling (with G? Korsten) Dirkie Daar doer in die Bosveld (Jamie Uys ? pre-quel to The Gods must be grazy...) Hoera die skool brand af (Heintje) Sound of Music All time greats ? 4. WELL DONE ROBBIE and the BAR team!!!! I got stuck in traffic and heard the news on the radio. Could hardly wait for the highlights at 20:00 ... and again at 22:00!
  5. My nervers were shot!!! I rooted for him all the way and kept my fingers crossed that the 2 Disco guys or peleton would not catch him (although I'm actually a Disco fan - thats the cycling team and the car...). Once a South African always a 'Souf Efrican'. Go TBL!!!
