  1. not arguing it is a bit shocking for the guys at the back that behaved and couldn't see. but they told us do not cross to the other side, and we at certain instance did not do it for no reasons either than everyone want to get up front. so the marshal did what he could. that was for our safety. i am still really thankful that this event is always well organized, safe and a standard to be judged upon. thanks to the organizers and marshals.
  2. hi gerald, i for one would have no issue paying the asked entry. the product is imho the best organized, convenient, safe and well communicated event period. i would love to see a slightly more challenging route (ok, not the forsaken wind...) but if you guys don't have the fund, how could you provide the service?
  3. thanks gerald and everyone that worked on this race. this is the golden standard on how race should be organized.
  4. Aertech did a shoot on some road riding. It wasn't the whole ride but they had several drones rotating and switching batteries and had some amazing shots. GPS mapping and routing is available as well, they have bigger drones that carries cameras that can adapt to zooming lenses. I think some footage is on the website.
  5. If you are interested in this, call Waiman at Aertech. they have all the latest equipments. battery life however, won't last for commercial available drones. www.aertechsa.com
  6. Er... Sorry Indigo Kid, can't tell you about the up side down numbers. But yeah, I suspect you will hear the music at Meals...
  7. Lone Rider, We call him the "Goat", I mean we all ride with our numbers up side down, but he rides BL because he doesn't race anymore, he only ride for fun these days and he prefers long climbs than wind. He doesn't train that much either but usually ride loops in the cradle with us 53-11, no jokes, slowly but he does it. Years back he was riding with VA or A (Can't recall) in the Argus, and he had his iPod on and crashed out and got dissed by the group (rightfully so) so he went for the bluetooth speaker box these days.
  8. For a buddy...
  9. wr, sincere apologies for my teammate. it was a poor decision by him and he didn't realize what he did (i was right behind him). we really are sorry. please do accept our apology.
  10. Surprisingly well organized. The marshal with us helped us throughout the race, much appreciated. Have to agree though, route a bit dangerous, but because of the marshall, never once felt threatened. Thanks to the organizers and the marshals!!!
