Hi all. Soooo I recently upgraded to a new silverback siera Full XT! Great yay ! But it also came with those 'fancy' thin-not-very-much padding type of saddle's. Granted I don't think silverback makes the greatest of saddle's but the concept remains the same I guess. Now my question is why are these thin saddles better for yo u ?? My arse hurt so much this weekend Compared to my el cheap'o ravx saddle on my prev bike. The ravx in question is like so http://www.cyclelink.com.au/images/zone-x-sport.jpg and ooo so much better than the piece of plywood i had to suffer through this weekend !!! So why are they better (the thin fancy one's ) ?

GroenTrui yes, THEY don't call you back ! had somewhat hte same experience, took a wheel in, promise me work will be done by 4pm and they will call me. Haha Justin i Had EXACTLY The same problem with myh buddie's bike. I went to sportsmanwareshouse told them my buddie bought he's bike there and was missing "that" the dude at the bike-section went to fetch me one from the workshop

Dunno which cage i have but i can say with the alu's one i got two of them, The stuff(alum/metal-powder) rubs of ! After ride my bottle is covered with this fine mist of metal !. I am looking for plastic one !

@WinBlowPE I soo hear you on this ! i HATE HATE HATE incompetence/***-service to the point where i spent about an hour a day emailing/phoning companies complaining ! Jaa probally not good for my health ! What i did found out was yes the higher you go the better and then my personal fav is threaten them with a website like "shopname-sucks" and yell loud in clear about the magnet-stickers you are about to go and make for you car that tells the whole world how k@k they are ! etc !!
