I ram the biggest one with the bike but then the other one jump on my back with a knife. I realised that i have no option and try to get everybody to calm down. They search my pocket and removed myj Samsung S10 hone with R 150.00 and my Garmin S5 watch. They tied my feet and arms and draw me into the bushes and left. Dont worry to much about it. Most important part is to put the right clothes and lights in the crates. The night part will be cold.

That last 14 km on the first day nearly kill me. but is unbelievable nice. All the single track on the second day was excellent

This was a touch but excellent race

cant wait for the next one. Great race. Agree on the last part but must be seen as part of the mission. Could be worse.

When do you know you are ready?

I enjoyed the concept - good value for many. It was hard and tough but i can you ride here you van ride anywhere. Well done organisers.

Enter yesterday the solo. Going to suffer

Done. Enjoy, NO Dust but little but of mud. Pissed off because of the Tshirts. Done 5 in 2015 and then was told not Tshirts. Missed one race 2016 because of a stage race. (My own choice). No Shirt.

Who is doing Rust de Winter?

Dusty real Bushveld ride, sand, rocky Soft tail if you have one otherwise hardtail (done 2 on hardtail). Not to many riders

I enjoy - still not good enough for Ultra but done the Marathon. And enjoy the fun race with the family on Sunday There was a lot of swearing and moaning in this group about that first 11 km. But i enjoy it and help were i could.

Done the 59 km (Marathon). New course but loved the last 30 km. Everthing else well organized. That switchback trial was excellent.
