  1. i find getting of the bike to be some kind of a waist. i can get onto pavements etc etc but whenever i try going higher i keep on bringing out the tail. it will really help to jump 40cm.
  2. bwahahaha i barely ever carry a cutting torch.
  3. Will i be able to convert my mtb from a 9 speed to a 10? I have the merida big nine.
  4. Whenever we're on single tracks there's usually small rocks or smallish stump lying in the track, what would you reckon is the proper technique to op over them? i try it every time i ride but i just cant seem to get any air. Its as if i compress to hard on my front shock to get the motion going. Pointers will be great. and not this type of pointer
  5. Bought (supposedly) fox gloves, when the order came to my doorstep i got the FLY F16's Hole ****, what a glove. Need i say more?
  6. Merida Big Nine. but it comes to preference with this one. My very first bike was merida way back when and i never looked back but you get such cool accessories for the scott. Close your eyes spin around twice and ask yourself "which one is cheaper"
  7. Thanx a mil. Adjusted my seat with about 20mm and went for a 10km ride. i ended up doing 35... NO pains at all and it was uphill into the wind for atleast 8 km
  8. 29er Merida. I want to say Hard tail but ds is way more comfortable , if you're the weekend warrior id say ds, Ive got the 2014 Merida Big nine 300. and im so so so so happy with it since ive got the aerodynamics on a brick.
  9. whats the proper high to adjust seat? my hip starts giving me k*k whenever im on my bike for more than 30km
  10. The weekend warrior dont really care about the .06 like the snakes do.
  11. i ride 1.8 fr and 2.2 rr. luckily Ive got the aerodynamics of a brick. imagine how much i weigh
  12. I got into mtbing about 6 yrs ago. so riding used to be on and off. my first bike was a 3K bike which needed a hell of a lot maintenance so riding was a drag. So i stop riding. 2 year later i bought myself a 2009 Merida matts 40. damn was riding good at that time and i only paid 5K brand new. so i recommend adding 2k to your budget coz at that time (and still now) i weight 103kg as im into powerlifing. after that i sold my bike bought 2010 merida Matts 100. i can promise you everything ive got that a cheap bike will make you give up much quicker. if installments will be possible, rather finance a bike. go to www.bikelife.co.za and get yourself a propper bike, brand new at an affordable price.
  13. apparently mtb riders dont have any legs. This oaks got the aero dynamics of a brick. Talk about sole
  14. Thanks. got mine and fairly priced
  15. Well, atleast you're guarenteed to get your mail ontime everytime for the next 6 yrs
  16. Remember where you bought them? Been looking for the exact same ones a while now
  17. Potmans Bike also never been upgraded. Also getting paid by the hour makes you do less to make work last longer. Still reckon Potman has a better pension plan than i do.
  18. What parts do you need still? Lets see if I can chip in some of my stuff
