  1. I prefer Ryder sealant, been using it for years and did many a loooong race with it and never had a seal problem when getting a puncture. Also easy to clean out with just water when cleaning and refilling wheels.
  2. DarkHorse - been on them for more than a year, lots of trails and hard long rides and still going strong and true. Awesome wheels
  3. The one that always breaks me 20 x 30sec max intervals - seated and no cheating of letting up on one interval to try and get to between 700 - 800 watts that I aim for at the start of each interval Do 10 x 30 sec with 2 mins rest between them then 5 mins rest then back to last 10 intervals, you won't thank me later https://www.strava.com/activities/3087367111/analysis
  4. What a blast this year was. Was suppose to start in @ but decided - after doing Tour of Good Hope that MTB will have to do as my legs was now where to be found for race day - on 2 E with sister and brother in law and one other friend (2 men mtb and 2 girls road bikes). Up Rhodes I felt good and just road with the other 3 then on the down hill I got the chance to warm up the legs at what felt like 500 cad just to keep up. Edinburgh Dr was a jol and felt like a small roller, this is when I knew I made a mistake, should have gone with road bike and went for sub 3. Cruised along and hit Smits and was having lots of fun then down past reserve at 500 cad again. unfortunately our 1 team member had a bad mechanical at the turn to Misty cliffs and I stopped to help her but her rear wheel bearings went POOOFFF - lots 5 mins on the other 2 and had to TT to catch them and managed to join them just as Chappies started. Again Chappies and Suikerbossie was a non event and just nailed it to the end with the other 2 and finished on a 3:31. Overall the 2E group was not behaving to bad with only 1 near mis in Simons Town but enjoyed the ride and hope next year for similar weather to go for my sub 3.
  5. Always have Rennies on hand and as soon as you feel the tingle of cramps starting chow 2 of them, works for most people, it is a short term solution but could at least help you over your next climb and maybe even further
  6. So who else is doing the TOGH this year? It's going to be a good one!!
  7. Just watch out for his rear wheel when he crosses some cattle rails whilst looking at the view
  8. Just to be clear, I know that the problem is not PPA but rather Racetec so please PPA don't send me a mail trying to explain that one - you are not in the wrong here
  9. Nope just want the correct results NOW!!!!!!!!!
  10. No no no all I'm saying is put the time in, fix the problem and don't just try and please some people with a half ass job. We all rode hard and paid our fees for correct results and if they can't deliver then please let us know when we can expect the correct results. It has been 3 days already!
  11. Isn't it easier to except corruption that to keep on fighting it in court battles?
  12. So must every person with incorrect time query their results before getting the correction done? Seems a bit skewed as they are paid to sort the problem or at least get it right the first time and should at least keep us informed of possibly when they will have the correct times and seeding up
  13. WOW no wonder my legs hurt today - 11:35 race time for the race, longest 162km on my bike ever
  14. Jip same here, phoned PPA and was told that they will not give better seeding to upgrade in A B or C???????????? Update Had a nice reply from PPA and fully understand the reasoning behind the decision so I will start in D and just be skelm and sit behind the other faster boys going past and tow to the faster groups. So everyone in D and E please go fast and do not look back - I will be behind you ????????????
