I run a 34 oval x 16 or 18. Did the baviaans this year and stayed on the 34 oval x16. Paid the price on the climbs but still finished in 13:30. Tried a 15 but just toooooo much hard work.
I am in. Looking forward to it. Cannot be tougher than the 36ONE.
Just working on strength and will focus on power next year.

Got my batch yesterday and very happy wit the early start. 6:27 am. Just debating if I should do it on mountain bike this year or on my single speed. Time to have a bit of fun in the race and enjoy it. Stop for tequila and beer. Buddies are starting in batch TT so not sure if I should join them for a relaxing ride.
Hi, Did two 30 km races their over December and the trail is a dream. Lots of single track and great fun burn sections. On the last race the area had a lot of rain, and this created even more fun, with all the mud. It is a must for all.
