    I would like to remember the 2014 Epic as probably the most exciting in the last 5 years. Now we have this kinder garden mud slinging crap spoiling it. They did their sponsor an injustice full stop. I am a Evans fan so it is not a "haters will hate" scenario here

    The race is 12 to 14 September 2014. Any feedback on the race. Entry fee is R2835 excl accommodation. Worth it?

    I wont be surprised if fedgroup lost more due to bad publicity the last few weeks than what they ever gained while sponsoring a team the last year or 2. Will we be seeing yet another sponsor departing our sport?................... I really don't hope so but it is a fair question.

    Would like to see a Sauzer/Schurter combo next year. I know it will not happen. Can't see Scott giving him up to Specialized anytime soon. Would be a great buy though

    What he did was stupid! Should have hit him with 2hr penalty. Should get a fine from his sponsors as well as this is his job. What the hell was he thinking......................

    It is my opinion that the top level XCO riders would easily do well in marathon events but the guys that focus on marathon won't necessarily keep the pace in a XC event. Hell is there not more XCO guys in the top 10 than dedicated marathon riders. That Chiarini guy that rides with Paulison is also a roadie and he is kicking some serious ass in the later stages. Love this year's epic! Smart money has to be on Topeak Ergon and to be honest I think it would be good if someone wins that was not expected to be a contender for top spot

    With the right partner I think Schurter could have been on top step of Epic this year. No disrespect to Buys. I think he is a good rider

    Game over for Sauzie and Rabon....... Rabon is realizing by now that it is easier to suck wheel for 2 to 3 weeks than to ride at your limit for 1 week

    My money is on Huber to take this as well. Does not look like Sauzer is too interested showing his form before the epic

    Would love to see these guys do well! For me the bulls must be favourite. They seem to be in great form. Def cheering for Sauzie and company as well. Always love to see Hermida do well. Think i might be on the money with these 4 teams at least making up 3 of the top 5 spots

    Not a Sky fan but Stannard and EBH are quality riders and I am happy for them. Would have liked Van A to take it (actually Boonen but he was not there when mattered)

    Friend has done 2 epics and a pioneer by spinning 3 or 4 days a week and doing 2 x 3hr rides on the wknds. Also did not place too bad with this tipe of training

    Decided to do the race this year. Guy I am riding with has done a few but I am newbie. Needless to say we are on waiting list. What is the chances of actually getting an entry when you are on the list. We have a code - wait 89 Guess this means we are nr 89 in line. Kinda screwed then?
