    I did not do the rollercoaster. What is the total ascent of this race? Tough course?

    I was feeling strong and then somewhere on the Malan's hoogte rd (after gravel) I just lost my legs and could not stick to that front bunch. Most of the % group must have passed me by the time I crossed the matts. Personally I think it is stupid to add the gravel section. If it was just a climb it should have been fine. Well organized race. Hope the organizers reached their targets

    Started in D/E bunch. At this stage still in crappy shape so I was grateful for the slow pace. Well done to the 3 guys that got away with 10km to go

    Wonder how they will organize the road works section on the R44........... Think there is also road works on the Perdeberg road

    Those SLX shifters seems very out of place. The Bianchi looks like it has the better setup while it is my opinion that the spez is the superior engineered bike. Difficult decision between 2 good bikes. If you go for spez ask them to swop shifters for xtr or try do a deal on a xx1 groupset rather

    I have also used the Jeukendrup mix till 2 months ago. Instead of salt I used a fizz tablet from hammer. Then I discovered cadence nutrition carbo fuel energy. It also consists of the Jeukendrup ratio formula, has all the salts and tastes great and is extremely cheap Still make my own gel though

    I think both the spez and the cannondales are great choices. Not a big fan of the Bianchi mtb's. Love their top end road bikes though
