  2. The day I bought my bike (a duel sus), I saw a Schwinn Moab CS2, carbon frame hardtail going for R14995.00 and was very tempted to go for that... the same as the one in the picture, but comes with the Rock Shox Reba front shock Fruitloop2009-09-16 01:51:47
  3. Even though the stones stick to it's knob(s)? Jeeeez, I wouldn't want stones to stick to my kn*b
  4. Go for slime?? but then some people say that if you get puncture with slime it just leaks inside your tyres.. umm, tubeless??
  5. Thanks for the info, I also just find it weird that even with tyre liners I got a puncture on the road, and it was on the front part of the tyre
  6. Is DT Swiss working together with Ritchey??.. I'm riding home the other day and I get a puncture, so I phone my bro-inlaw to see if he can pick me up in his van.. I get home to take the back wheel off and change the tube.. I then see on the inside of the DT Swiss rim, there's a blue Ritchey sticker running on the inside of the rim.. yuslike I am now very confused
  7. I had the Kenda Nevegal's on my old bike, and got the Maxxis Crossmark on my new one and, either I'm dof or what cos I don't really notice a difference in tyres, maybe cos I'm riding a totally different bike now
  8. At least now I know I'm not the only one that goes for those race morning poo's Ja some people think its due to excessive carbo loading' date=' but thats the end result (ripe smell) not the cause [/quote'] But that's the thing, I don't even carbo load on the 'right' carbo loading stuff and I still have a morning k*k
  9. At least now I know I'm not the only one that goes for those race morning poo's
  10. How do guys think Burry would do on a Trek?? .. like one of these babies or something better if there is Fruitloop2009-09-15 06:47:11
  11. I'm sure you could put 'knoblies' on a road bike, thin knoblies though, but then what would you call the bike, a Hard Body??
  12. Only shave my legs the night before a race, which happens like twice a month, ride to work and back Monday to Thursday, then go for a ride in Giba on Sunday, just bought a Hydration pack as my bike frame doesn't allow me to put a water bottle on it.. as for the diet, pfffft, still eating junk food in between and having a beer every night
  13. Could be, the duel sus being a smoother ride which might've given Burry more speed on the down hills, but I wouldn't know if the Orbea is a lighter bike or not for the up hills
  14. Not being funny but I've never known Orbea to be one of the top bike manufacturers, shows how much I know about bikes huh.. But Ratty's right, can just imagine where Burry's gonna be in a few years time
  15. Burry you beaUTY!!
  16. R.I.P Keith, gonna miss your recipes

  19. Haa haaaa Bulls may win the Curry Cup' date=' but then WP will go on and win the Currie Cup, the one that actually matters[/quote'] I can see we're gonna have another thread with the Pom Pom girls
  20. Haa haaaa
  21. Would've liked to do Lynford, saving some pennies for a party at the end of the month, but you talk about duel single track, I almost have that to work and back, cos some sections there's tar foot paths with dirt ones running parallel to them
