I considered the Thule clipon high rack (9105/6). Read Thread. But I do consider the roof rack with roof mounted bike rack. Just worried about low hanging trees, etc.

I've got an Audi A3 and do not have a towbar. Would you advise me not to go for the 9105/9106 and rather fit a towbar and buy the rack that fits on the towbar? (A bit stiff - i would prefer spending any extra money on the bike)

Does anybody have the Thule 9105 or 9106 bike carrier. This is the one that clips onto the hatch with bike wheels fastened into rails. See pic below: I would like to know: Thx!
