Picked up a cold over the weekend, taking meds, but it is not clearing up (soon enough). Will take a decision wether to ride Saturday or not on Friday afternoon. Be on standby for the 40km.
My partner started cramping at 70km on day 2 of the Sani2C. Stopped immediately, stretched the muscle & gave him a sachet of the sport version. Powder directly in the mouth & downed it with water (from the Clover Truck) Problem immediately solved. I took 1 sachet every night before bed time.
On holiday in the Eastern Cape. Busted back tyre on a training ride today. Passing through PE tomorrow. Need name and address of bike shops to get a new one. Many Thanks (P)P

Is there some shop were one can get a connector that twists in, like on the Edge 500. The one part could perhaps be glued with epoxy to the Edge 705. (P)P
I've read of numerous incidents where Hubbers "lost" there GPS's. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> It is also mentioned in a review of the latest Tread Mag that the bike mount is not secure enough. Any advice on overcoming this? A picture tells a thousand words THX (P)P
Do you order the opitcal insert seperately from the sunglasses? How much is it (without the prescription lenses)? Is anyone using the insert with the photochromatic lenses? (P)P

How many entires are available for each of the two events? If I understand the entry process correctly - teams on the waiting list will not be able to enter online in August 2009. They can only enter after they've been contacted by the organisers.

Had a nasty one over the weekend ? knee badly cut & scratched. What treatment can I use to heal the wounds as QUICK as possible and with the least amount of scarring? There is no question that it is all about ego & vanity. Please don?t comment on roadie vs. hardcore MTBers issues. I need your help to get back on the road / dirt - not looking like a 3 year old learning to ride a two wheel bike.
