What is the benefit of a big thomper engine?

A vital clue in any accident is the data captured on the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) and the Digital Flight Data Recorder (DFDR). These recorders were not found attached to the rack that normally held them in place at the rear of the aircraft.

Things like brakepads I do on the car. Bike I do the oil changes brake pads bulb changes, those things. Chain and sprocket I go to the bike bros in goodwood. Very close my my office.

Thanks guys. yep I am asking to make that comparison between bmw and ktm. Everyone heard the saying " behind every ktm is an empty atm" I ride my bike every day rain or shine. Car is parked in the garage with the battery disconnected. The BMW is treating me well. Easy to fix and way cheaper than my brothers Kawa. The BMW is just so bleh. It is a nice safe predictable ride.

No bought the bike second hand without a service manual. Bike had 35 000 km on it. 6 months later it is on 47 000 km I am considering selling the GS and getting a KTM, I just don't want a bike, ride it for 6 months and then park it because it is to expensive to run .

Is there a way to reset it at home, or do you need to take it somewhere?

I am doing exactly the same thing. My BMW does not need a reset after the service, so it is do-able.

BMW bar end = 550 for one.....

Any known problems? does it need to be reset after a service?

and the onboard computer on a KTM?

How does maintenance compare between KTM and BMW? Price and parts?

I made a horrible unforgivable mistake over the weekend. I took my friends new duke 690 for a spin........ How can one be so stupid!!! I now do not like my bike anymore. It is slow and heavy and stupid tall.

You guys are lucky... We went looking for a bike for the missus to ride with. Even the Ninja 300 is to tall for her.

o darn. I typed all of that in my head. Love RPG's. black sails is one of the assassin creeds. but also like a good FPS. cars and sports are at the bottom of the list. And the platform is xbox1

Had a nice 600 km round trip over the weekend with the dakar. (and wife on the back.) Did 120kmph for most of the distance, but you can feel that engine working its but off. My backside is still vibrating....... It is a very nice bike and very capable, but definitely not build for long distances at highway speeds. And it is an excellent commuter. No to find something else..... It should be as tall as the dakar A bit narrower at the back for the missus's hips At least 2 cylinders and able to do 140. (not nice to be overtaken on a bike while doing 120.) top box, boxes, center stand, loud, would be a super bonus
