Hi gents and ladies So with a number of the 1X guys using the Sunrace cassette with good things to say, I have a question How are the derailers? Can you use it on a 1x system? If I want to put a mtb togehter for MTB riding (not racing) like bottelary hills, meerendal, jonkers etc would it suffice? And of course the trans baviaans, and maybe trans karoo? If not, why not? I want to put another sponsor bike togehter, but also keep costs in mind. Does sunrace make shifters??

You get tool boxes that looks like a short water bottle. Some Ebike batteries are also stored like that. Invest in a seatclamp bottle holder. (only if you don't use a dropper) Not to expensive and gives you space for your extra bottle. and other guys use that space for the spares "bottle"

on my practice rides i use a nice big saddle bag that can fit everything. Races I unpack into my shirt pockets.

went home on Friday and decided to see if my xbox is still working, Its been so long. Started playing Tomb Raider, and looked at my watch to see the time after a bit of playing. It was 00:00 . haven't played like that in years. Solid 6 hours......

Ill take some pics when I am on my bike. I just feel that if you can see, you can make sure that you are seen.

I have 1000 lumens infront on my road bike, and bontrager Flare R at the back with "normal" lights aswell. The Flare R is sold as a daytime light. It is very visible. Cateye also sells a nice daytime light. and it cost more or less the same. The ideal would be to have the cateye and flare together since the one is for longer distance awareness and the other closer awareness, so to speak.

I know this has been discussed before. BUT: I have attached a bar end mirror to my roadbike last weekend. Nice small cateye one that fastens inside of your bar. What a difference. You know exactly what is coming when and where. I don't think Ill remove it anytime soon. And it does not look funny at all. My wife and I cycled for almost an hour before she noticed it.... And for the comfort and safety feature, I am willing to take a few strange looks.
