I'm about to throw my Scott Spark off a low pavement - the BLERRY kraaking, squeaking and groaning of the Spark is enough to drive you mal. There have been many threads related to this, BB bearing this, pedals that, pivot lube what what - tried the whole list, but na aah, still creaks and kraaks. P1S S poor design flaw that makes me sad because I really dig the bike

People are doing this by the thousands - you will not miss DSTV for one second. There are so many sources of downloads, streaming, TV series, movies sport etc, spend 10m on google, and read this thread you will have more content that you can deal with. Multichoice have made it easy for people to switch off with the continued dumbing down of content that is repeated to death. The only new stuff is reality show after reality show, naked people in jungles etc etc. I prefer the Hub for that entertainment. Just Nike

do we have enduro events in SA? With reference to your earlier comment, you said Enduro is a race format that would use trail bikes - what is an example of a trail bike? If I choose a full sus bike, is there a difference between a full sus enduro bike from a full sus marathon bike?

my obvious hope is to get proficient over time and participate in the popular events in SA - which bikes have been most popular, successful, and enduring in the races like S2S, BnB, W2W etc etc?

I fear I may be getting more confused - is there a difference between an enduro bike and a trail bike? The problem is that when reading different websites etc, some use "this word" and others use "that" word, and assume you know WTF they are talking about - can you guys shed some light on which of the above "terms" are actually the same thing, or substantially similar?

Can Hubbers please shed some light on the range of confusing terminology that abounds in the MTB universe of bike "categories". I am deciding what sort of bike to buy, and some of the definitions appear to be 2 words for the same thing - some expert input would be greatly appreciated. In terms of amount of travel, full suspension or hard tail, 26 vs 29, can you PLEASE categorise and/or describe the following types of bikes: XC XCO XCM Trail bikes Enduro All mountain Free ride Downhill any others????

Is it ok to ask what the deal is with water bridges? So given i will be falling into the drink on this blerry Urban Assault, is it OK to swim back to the floating bridge, and probably take out everybody else on the thing? What are my options if it is too deep - my bike is going to sink, so what do I do?
