Hey guys, I'm looking to fix up a bike for my nephew. rofl, nice one. But ja, the okes are so skelm man. I had lots of camera gear on the tree of gums at one time, and jusso, I swear these people sit at the same damn internet cafe phoning us. The first call had for my lens, I heard a lady screaming in the background, I declined the offer due to obvious reasons, on the second call (a different no and guy this time) I heard the same lady screaming in the background. I have known Maruwaan and his brother for many years now. Long before he opened the 2 stores he now owns. His brother and I were into dicing back in the day with Ford v6's (ooh what fun that was). Very stand up type of guy, always willing to do the right thing no matter what. To be honest, Maruwaan has been done in more times than I care to say, and he never made an issue about it. Give him a try, I'm quite sure you will be surprised. I dont think a dealer or reseller would want any bad things said about there company on a forum like this. That kinda forces them to do what is right, right!

Hey ouens. Just got my new bike, nothing spectacular, but in gooooood condition. and got her for a lekka cheap price. What I want to know is, what upgrade options are there to be made to this bike. Will be used mostly for road use, and the occasional dirt trail. Hs the Shimano Alivio group set fitted to it already. If I do replace the shock on it, what should I get for it? Regards Cedric

Thanx braailegen. I thought it might be an issue. But all is not lost. I was warned by the regeering , it's this one OR the other, but not both. My cash flow aint to good either, just had to fork out for a 13kg washing machine. If I sell her I could possibly be sitting with around R2500, depending on the buyer. Do you maybe know of anybody selling a descent mtb in the CT area in that price range?

Hey peeps. I have an older Gary Fisher MTB. Man, this thing rides like a dream, extremely smooth, solid and very quiet. I know it's nothing like what some of you have, but she's still good. Time has taken it's toll on some of the shiny bits, very slight signs of surface rust here and there. So got to thinking, I know I can upgrade the derailer and jockey and the other goodies. But would it be worth it to upgrade things like the fork and replacing it with a nother one that has a shock in it? Is this even possible with this type of bike, and would my breaks be compat with it?
