I think I will do so. Boycott that is. Wow, first time I've ever used that word. Doesn't leave a good taste in the mouth, but yeah, I'm not entering again unless there is some sort of recourse for entrants of this years event.
In light of cancellation of said event I decided to take a short ride through the suburbs and can 100% agree with the organisers decision given first hand account of the wind. Extremely unfortunate to hear how problems on this route have escalated to the point they are now. I however no longer commute or use the route but do ride it every now and then on the weekend which I assume is worse as it's really quiet then. Will be following this closely to see what the city's reaction to this is.
