Hi Marius. Sadly i have to agree with you. I had a set of AC sprint 350s. I identified two design problems: The rear hub is too narrow which results in too acute a spoke angle. The rim is also some 5 mm narrower than most. The wheel becomes too sensitive to the spoke tension. If the spoke tension is slightly out the rim wobbles. I also believe that the bearings are too small. I sold mine very cheap to someone who had another set and likes them. Replacing the hubs would solve most of the problems.

Thanks guys. Have ordered a new lever from CWC but am not giving up on the old one. Will strip it down at my leisure and figure out which part causes the problem. Must be some sort of a friction drive on the downshift. Will let you know once I have fixed it. Shimano do not keep spares like that. Regards.

I have noticed that the downshift on the RH Ultegra STI is getting progressively worse, especially onto the smaller sprockets. Bike has done about 2600 km plus some trainer time. I have replaced all the cables and housings but it feels as though the shifter itself is the problem, almost as though the return spring on the black lever has gone completely soft. I do all my own service etc so this really irrititates me. Anybody out there experienced this problem? Thanks. NickD
