I would like to get your guys views on this. I've always been a cycling traditionalist and a fan of the little unwritten laws of cycling like not riding a non-Italian groupset on an Italian bike. But now I got the opportunity of upgrading my current old Look frame to a new Wilier frame and I've always been using Shimano. I wouldn't mind changing to Campag, but I can't afford a new frame and groupset just now. What do you other traditionalists think? Should I go for the upgrade or rather look for a different frame?
Hi, Here is a guideline, I don't know if it will help. I've got the Look KG461 and I bought it second hand 2 years ago and I paid R4500 for it. That was for the frame only. I'm not sure about the year model but I think it should be around 2005.
Hi Guys. I need to know if my LOOK frame uses a bottom bracket with english or italian type threading. Is there a quick way of finding this out without taking my bike to a bike store? Or does someone know what type of threading LOOK frames uses?
Lance has not proven at all that he is strong enough. As soon as the big climbs start he will not be able to stay with the likes of Contador and Schleck.
