  7. ive found Smoove to be the best in any dry and dirty condition....doesnt cake on and attract dirt like others.the key is to not over lube and lube a clean chain oh and motor oil on a chain is great if you want a sandy grinding drivetrain

  11. i use the wolftooth adapter to fit that directly to the sram brakes but it was pricey . couldn't find any other easy options. chat to Janos at Evo bikes

  16. its irritating that this is still in active discussions we heard both side, numerous times, just leave it
  17. this trail had great views as well but i was suffering too much to really enjoy it unfortunately. you cannot ride all of it on any other day so i really wanted to go have a look. only a very small part of the loop had permanent route markers and i asked,they don't allow riders on the rest
  18. no talk of the 2 day format...just do the 85km, im sure its enough for most hahaha and i can imagine being there and not being able to ride was torture. that is why i don't go to events i can't ride
  19. Stanford mtb Classic on Saturday I'm still very much hurting 41°C at one point and with the sand and grass patches it was interesting... Must say,the refreshment stations and marking was on point
  20. For scenic, Bottelary Hills as well as Banhoek , but there are pleeenty nice trails. Enjoy
  21. Thought i wrecked my bars in this incident but luckily it was just gouges in the paint so i stripped it down for a raw carbon finish with a clear coat.not something i want to do again soon.
  22. One of those days...getting lost, punctures and connecting big rocks at speed. Must say these shimano xt pedals are definitely strong jeez. Took a chunk off the rock. I went right over it. Right side pedal damaged and right side of the rock broken off. Tall grass so didn't realize its such a quick s-bend over a trench.
