I realize this post was waaay long ago, but im currently deciding between the Lelit and the Rancilio Silver. You say its much more convenient than the Rancilio? Is that mainly because of the time it takes to heat up and the temp gauge? Any advice between these two machines would be greatly appreciated!!

correct - the self extracting cap shouldnt need to come out ever unless it needs replacing.

I know you posted this a while back but did you come right with a headset? If not, i have a few brand new 1inch threadless, sealed bearing FSA headsets in silver. Let me know.

I've ridden in all the major brands of bibs and lately have been riding Vermarc bibs. I have their top end pair, think the model is the Vermarc PRR. Half the price of assos and worn by many pro teams. I've also got their 'mid level' bib which is really great value for the quality. They are both really comfortable and fit just right, not too tight or loose. The elastic hasn't stretched either after many washes and rides. Maybe it's worth looking into them - they're very under rated and overlooked by many cyclists in South Africa...
