  1. So I'm looking to get this trainer, for me and my wife to use - she's on a 27.5 with 9spd cassette and I'm on a 29 with 10spd cassette. Thinking of buying a separate 27.5 wheel with trainer tyre - does it seem likely we can both use that wheel on the trainer? I suppose the 9spd/10spd discrepancy makes it unlikely... Any other complications I should anticipate? Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  2. So I've had a Garmin Edge 500 for a year, and suddenly the twist in Mount is super tight - I can't physically twist it hard enough to get the Garmin in. Anyone had similar issues? Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  3. Am I right that if guys missed cutoff yesterday, they can still ride today with blue board? Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  4. Keen to ride this tmrw, what is the best in terms of avoiding cars? Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  5. Where's that? Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  6. This hack worked brilliantly, thanks! I guess it just makes your piston starting position further in? Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks - reach adjustment is the same on both, as is pad thickness. So if there is play with a brake block in, does that mean it's a bleed issue? Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  8. So I just replaced my brake pads on front and back. My front brake lever is nice and tight and takes very little travel to bite, but my back one takes way more. I'm pretty sure it's not a bleed issue, as pumping the brake lever doesn't change anything. Also brake does bite nice and tight without sponginess, it just takes a longer pull to do it. Anyone know what else besides bleeding could be the issue? Formula Rx Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  9. So I put my chain back to its original length (from when it had 36t biggest ring) and all is good. Just gonna get slightly longer b screw Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks guys - gonna give it a test on old chain length so I'm not changing multiple things at once, will let u know Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks. It's 24t on the front.... Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  12. Can you tell anything from these bad photos? Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  13. Awesome morning on Table Mountain, first time down there Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  14. Super helpful. Any USN products use this ratio? The one I use says: "Carb matrix (Sucrose, Maltodextrin)" Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  15. OK so I changed my chain back to original length. Now if the chain still falls off, it points to the B screw being fully screwed in leaving the derailleur in an unworkable position. I'll report back Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  16. 2x. Chain never comes off small chainring, only drops outside the large one Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  17. No clutch. I recently added a link to chain because I went from 36t to 42t largest cog on the back, and jockey wheel was catching on largest cog even with B screw fully in Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  18. So as of late, my chain often slips off the large chainring to the outside when I'm freewheeling over bumpy ground. Even when in a middle gear on the RD. All shifting is working great, and while pedalling everything is solid. Why would the chain keep falling off in freewheel? Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  19. USN Ener-G good enough for me Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  20. I run 2 bar... But I'm 125kg so don't take notes from me! [emoji2] https://youtu.be/YBUilx1WDbg Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  21. Have you checked chain length? I just put 2 extra links on to handle the 6 extra teeth on the 42t cog, and it works beautifully Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  22. Managed to fix the problem a better way. The maths says that adding 6 teeth on biggest cog means increasing chain by 1.5 links. So I put 2 links on, and it can now handle biggest chainring with biggest cog. Not a combo I plan to use, but nice to know my derailleur won't lock up and break if I change into it by mistake. 23. Who supplies a b-screw? Bought a Sunrace 11-42 cassette from CWC, no b-screw? Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  24. Does this look right? Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  25. Got a Sunrace 42t wide range cassette. Derraileur now locks up when on big chain ring and 42t cog. Anyone know where I can get extra long B screw? Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
