  1. I can get a few bushes from the Engineering firm that made for me. It will be about R150 a unit if anyone is interested. The original one I got is still on my Mavic rim and I think it did close to 15 000Km R.
  2. Hi I will contact the supplier and see what they can do. I suspect it will only be in the new year R. Willem
  3. The Mini does not have all the features of the other DJI drones ie. follow me I did some research before I bought the Mavic and although a bit expensive, it offers the best functionality available at that price point. You can get refurbished units from a number of Drone stores in SA for much less than a new with a 1 year guarantee, still as good as new. Do your home work before you buy and know what you are going to use it for. It is an expensive toy
  4. To my knowledge it should fit any of the Mavic hubs. I dont have any left but I can get them made within a few days. I am just out of town this week and can only do it next week
  5. I had a problem with my Mavic hub (road) The bush was worn quite badly and the hub had some damaged as well. A new Freewheel body did not do the trick duo to the wear on the hub it self. The rim was still in good nic so no scrapping! I ordered a replacement bush form the hub doctor but I also did some research on suitable material. I found a material, Vesconite is a very durable material and ideal for this application. It doesn't need much lubrication and does well when water manage to penetrate. I had a few made, some slightly smaller than the hub size. The first one fitted very tight and I had to take some material off to get it on. I took it off after just over 3000 Km to inspect and check it out. No issues and still within spec. The 2nd one has almost 7000 Km on it and still no issues. If anyone is interested to fix there Freewheel or for a spare, please feel free to contact me. I can send you one via post or collect in Cape Town. Cost is R130 + postage.

  11. Thank God that you are you Ok. Hope you recover soon. I use that road regularly commuting to Cape Town and back and quite early in the mornings. Also had an incident on the same road in October 2012 closer to Kelderhof but some people came to my rescue and bike was recovered. Only lost cell phone and memory of the days events, not something I miss remembering.
  12. Nope have not received any interest I normally work from around 8-4 with no lunch so that allows me the hours. If extra delivery is required, working from after hours is quite efficient in these days so no worry there
  13. That is the only bad spot but I have found an alternative to that cut out a large portion of Maitland and all of Woodstock. I cross over now at Koeberg rd through PaardenEiland and join the Bike lane. I also use sometimes a back road in Maitland which is much quitter and still safe. The unfortunate is that I need to get back on Voortrekker before the railroad bridge in Maitland. I have done quite a few trips using the Bike lane from Milnerton towards town but it adds a bit of distance and time. In summer it is ok but winter time get a bit tight.
  14. Still well thanks With the winter and rain it is not always possible to do it as planned but at least there is no urgency to try and get fitter Hopefully I can still maintain my current fitness level until August or so when the rain starts clearing up a bit. Thanks for asking
