Has anyone tried out the Fox Rhythm 34? I know they are oem only at the moment But I'm sure they'll be avaible in the retail market at some point? My new Trance came with them and I am loving them. I'm no expert, so i was just wondering what others have to say and how they compare to the higher end offerings.

I have had my Giant Dropper for about 6 mou I have had mine for about 6 months now and it works great. Only issue I have is that it has a little play in it. Basically it wiggles around a bit. I was told by my LBS that that is just how the giant droppers are. Would be keen to hear from other users if that is the case?

Is there anything other than the "LIV" logo that makes these bikes lady specific? Because damn, I would ride any of those!

There is always a reason to bring the bike! We actually have some awesome trails in the area, such as clear water in Port Edward, Lake Eland in Oribi gorge, the Burry Stander bike Park in Umtentweni and Rocky Bay in Scottbrough to name a few. Dura Cycles who are based in Uvongo also do club rides at 6:30 every Saturday Morning. They have a super social, social and a faster more technical ride. They cater for everyone.

Greetings! Any one who finds themselves on holiday in Margate should come check out our little MTB trail / course at the Douglas Mitchell Sports Grounds in Uvongo. The entrance is near the bottom corner of he main sports field, just behind the cricket nets. It is an existing course which had become over grown due to failed municipal logging in the area. With the hard work and dedication from a few locals it has been cleared to the point where it is open and rideable again. It is still very much a work in progress but we are progressing nicely. We aim to continue clearing and add to the trail, build some jumps and re-pack berms etc. The trail is fairly short at the moment (1.5km) but it has a few awesome rock gardens, drop offs etc. Trust me a few laps and you will be feeling it! The course is open and free to all so the more tires on the ground the better!

I was looking for more "bling" upgrades or more specifically things to make my bike more unique. I am quite happy with the performance of the bike and it has carbon wheels with giant hubs (DT Swiss I believe). The only issue i found is that the rear hub is eerily quiet, I mean like whisper silent. I suppose one of these would be nice :

So just purchased My Anthem and I am super happy with it. I am looking for any Ideas on customizations / extras to make it more unique. My first thought was the handle bars and stem, probably blue. Pics or links to whats available would be appreciated.

Hang on a sec, do these have inners or do you have to wear your regular padded spandex underneath? I am looking at the male skyline shorts on the MX Alliance website, but can't quite tell...

I am looking to try these out : Does anyone have an experience with them? I know they a rather budget, but if enjoy them i could always move onto some pricier 5-10's in the future. While we are at it, are trail pedals (XT or even PDM 540's) worth it? The idea is to get trail pedals + trail shoes and to be able to clip out when things get interesting.

Decided to keep my hard tail and ordered a Gaint Trance Advanced 1 2016. Can always try sell the hard tail later if finances get a bit tight. Just waiting for stock to arrive in the country now. Can't wait, so bladie excite for it. Thanks for the input everyone

Shhhhh! Don't let my wife find out about that one. But seriously, was hoping to get at least a little more out of it.

I only buy components on special, so if I can pick them up 50% off then XT it is. Paid half price for my XT shifters, rear derailer, XT brakes + rotors, seat, XTR pedals. Hell almost everything was bought at either a 40-50% discount.

Thanks for the input I am planning to get a Gaint Trance Advance 1, so yea trail bike. Most of the races / events I do are quite rough so would probably end up riding the trail bike like nine times out of ten. Even on our local regular rides we actively seek out the fun stuff Selling the hard tail would help with financing the full sus but I don't want to sell it for peanuts either. Plus It's kind of my baby and would hurt to see it go. Doing a rough what I paid less 50% calc comes in around R20k (bought the frame and slowly upgrade components as they were on special)
