  1. Exactly, I dont necessarily want to ride in delta, more through it and along the spruit. But seems its better to stay clear for the time being.
  2. Hi All, I live near delta park and it falls within my 5km radius from my house and was wondering if we are allowed to cycle in the park during lock down along with Emmarentia? Thanks
  3. what more can you do if the trail is CLEARLY marked? The sign is there with clear indication of danger. Anywhere else it would be more than sufficient and if you injured yourself at that said place as you would be responsible for your own safety. Now that there is no one set person/company responsible, we try find someone and come up with all the reasons to not have this feature on the trail. You enter a park at your own risk, even to just walk through Delta, its at your won risk! If you were walking through a park and there was a big ditch, you dont try go around and now fall in as you dont read the signs or pay attention, whos fault is that? Its yours!! same applies here for riding the spruit.
  4. Hi All, can anyone suggest what grease I should using on my bike when I service it? What grease should I be using on my bearings and cranks and head tubes and stuff like that? Thanks
  5. @lizzyd666 you wont be disappointed!
  6. Hi All, had a stupid topple over at Thaba this weekend, but Thaba left a mark on my fork and was wondering how expensive this fix would be? http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l573/chris_lizzard/DSC_0119.jpg
  7. Busy looking at this now, would you recommend this model? Im starting to do early morning rides this year so need something to light my way
  8. Hi All, looking to buy a light, any recommendations on a decent light and also how many lumens should I look at? Is 1000 sufficient or would something higher be recommended? Was looking at something along these lines, http://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/bicycle-light-1000-lumens Thanks in advanced for the advice and feedback. Cheers, Chris.
  9. Boxing day ride at Notherns, went late afternoon and had the whole farm to myself http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l573/chris_lizzard/DSC_0012.jpg http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l573/chris_lizzard/DSC_0006.jpg
  10. Sorry to hear that! do you have a pic of the bike, it always helps, also anything that might help easily identify the bike?
  11. Using Rocket Ron SS, good rolling resistance and very happy with the grip and the way they feel in the corners. Wouldn't waste my time if they weren't Snake Skin. I also came off those shite Maxis Sphinx
  12. do I want this bike? Yes! do I need this bike? HELLS YEAH
  13. Welcome to Africa. there are some great sections. I ride the spruit solo and with mates and have had no issues thus far and is a great ride for what it is. But hey, if thats how you feel then I suppose less traffic for the rest of us who enjoy riding the spruit!
  14. the rock drop is a must for me when riding the spruit! Adds a bit more excitement to the ride, I try do as many features as possible, drops, jumps and berms to make it as fun as possible and also improve my skills when riding the spruit.
  15. Congrats and Enjoy! And a great bike, loved my Sola 4
