I went large on my upgrade so very happy, the only thing that always bothered me about the Oscar was the aesthetics, which is a personal opinion. It's a great machine which served me well as my first "proper" machine.

They are brilliant machines. I loved mine and the friend who bought it from me is still enjoying it. Good looking naked shot there

Try Kokdserve. They service mine. I'm sure they do Nuova Siminelli as well. There's also another coffee spot in the same industrial park that appear to be in the coffee machine business. Koldserve are based in Kuilsriver. Otherwise search for Alessandro Morrico he was the distributor.

I could be convinced otherwise..

I don't buy beans without a roast date and further more, won't buy anything that's past a month post it's roasted date.

Have green beans in cupboard for ages, definitely need to try and roast them

Remember the Chemex doesn't take that much coffee...I have the mini Porlex and it has served me well with my Chemex.

Perhaps get a hand grinder?
