It is a cool shock - sell you mine for R1000 ........ Its quite weighty - and is an entry level shock. Also needs to be serviced quite often to keep it in good nick.

Hi there I have a question regarding a Rock Shox dart 2 shock. It has broken at the bottom on both sides where the back flange/lug/thingymabobby that fits around the wheel skewer to hold it in place. They are totally off. exposed is the raw aluminum Alloy. I am on a budget - so my question is the obvious........is it repairable, or when a shock is damaged to that degree is it throw-away?

Maybe i can glue a plastic v@gina to it and put it in a dress and tell customs it is my mail order bride????????

I am worried now....All the chicks seem to like it. And thanks Wayne - i have been perusing for quite a while now but wanted to share this. Would it be a mission to get it from CRC? - with the Exchange Rate it will cost like R17,000 but it will probably cost another 5 g's to get it into the land. And i like the shock position - it makes best sense to me.
