  1. Runners.. the w@nkers that run on the wrong side of the road and expect you, the cyclist to swerve out and avoid them. None of those arrogant pricks have ever hopped onto the sidewalk to avoid me, its so easy, but their brain capacity doesn't allow for this. "Morning joggers".. LOL
  2. I rode a 29er at the "ride before you buy" literaly seconds after getting off my 26 inch. I found the acceleration of the 29er was no where near as good as the 26 (this makes sense; more rotational mass AND your wheels are your final "gear", the smaller they are the better the acceleration). Furthermore I found that the 26 inch was more nippy through the tight stuff (Also makes sense, the larger the diameter of the wheel, the more the gyroscopic effect keeping you upright). In all, I was not that impressed with the 29er and would not change my bike for one for the kind of riding I do. Wayne King2009-12-29 11:02:36
  3. Get a cyclocross bike and get the best of worlds!!
  4. Take off the stem cap and have a look see. Even better, post a pic once its off. You probably only have to fit 1 more spacer to solve the problem.
  5. You shouldn't be able to move them at all. Make sure your stem or another spacer sits slightly proud of the steerer tube before fitting the stem cap. This way the stem cap will clamp down on your stem and spacers.
  6. Or just learn to speak the universal language of the world. Do you want an afrikaans version of Windows as well??

  8. Wow! with all those websites out there dedicated to Aspartame, surely this ingredient can't be all that innocent. Wayne King2009-05-21 13:54:15
  9. Good, thats settled. You have a right to consume it just as I have a right to choose not to.
  10. Firstly' date=' we all have our opinions and the right to inform. But I really do not go for all these scare articles as they will always lead to a competitive article. Going apeshi1t about aspartame cause it tastes *** is one thing, but say its going to kill me - I don't care and the points have already been made. Create your own threads instead of hijacking others. Just remember one word "Moderation" - its the answer to all these scare articles [/quote'] So by saying this you pretty much have null and voided your first statement... And, erm, its not a scare article. If you pulled your head out of your backside you'd realise it has scientific proof supporting the statements. Do the research. I only posted this so people can make up their own minds, which they have a right to do. Hijacking a thread means changing the topic, starting a personal conversation or creating some sort of diversion, I have done neither. So before you completely ignore a mere "educate yourself" article try not to be so aggressive in your approach. What's in this deal for you??
