  1. Oh, by the way, seeing as this is a thread for soft boys, how about you send me your number noob. We could have some coffee or something sometime. You know. Just the two of us. Nudge nudge, wink wink. We can even ride road bikes if you like...
  2. expect if you can sell it to someone stupid Stupid people deserve what they get. They may give you what it's actually worth. Oh crap, any fools reading this thread will be forewarned. For the record: mtbNOOb is NOT, I repeat NOT trying to take you for a ride!!!!
  3. The only threat to MTB'ers when it comes to Land Rovers is riding into the back of a broken down one
  4. eek' date=' now we're hijacking the thread?yeah, it is a sad song and a get a lump at the bit where he kisses her? hijack off? although the zula's a racer, i found it to be a very playful bike, especially when powering out of the saddle. don't know if the suspension was set right for me, but it seemed "skittish"?but in a good way [/quote'] No worries Holy.
  5. You are being rude. This is not a thread about 29" bikes and you have no manners. You can't spell, have no concept of grammar and hide behind the anonymity of your keyboard. Why should we take your opinions on bicycles seriously when you display such ineptitude elsewhere? Should you see me at the race you probably will pass me whatever you are riding because I am no racing snake. All I can suggest is that you keep on going. Ray
  6. No, its still available. One guy is coming to have a look but no deal is done. Thanks for the interest Flowta.
  7. Thanks Scott. I am only in the market towards the end of next year. It will be my birthday, I will have some extra cash coming in, and I will be able to justify spending the loot to my wife et al. Just starting to get all the info I need so that I can start obsessing
  8. I seriously hope you aren't talking to me dude.
  9. Thanks Regard, Exactly the info I needed. No worries, I don't get caught up by other people telling me what I need to do. Not knocking the 29er just that I like what I like and it's a Zula
  10. Mis type, sorry about that, should have been 30.9
  11. Thanks Zaskar, just what I needed, my seat post is 30.9 so looks like it will fit
  12. For Morewoodkid or anyone else in the know... What size seat post will a Zula take? I am asking because I have a carbon Easton post which is 30.9 mm in diameter. What is the (more or less) waiting period on a Zula? How much deposit is needed? I want to buy one for my birthday in a little over a years time and would like to know how long beforehand to put in an order. Thanks, Ray TZmtb2009-11-25 23:09:08
  13. I have the alu marathon 1.0 and I love it. The iDrive actually works very well and I haven't had any maintenance issues yet. The dog bone does break if you jump the bike hard, the theory is that it protects the back shock by being designed to fail. I don't know about that but it is cheap and easy to replace and you can ride home if it breaks. I have changed mine once in a year. These bikes just feel great and ride really well. There are a lot of happy Marathon riders out there.
  14. I am with you on this one Mampara. I been on mine for 8 months now and still haven't serviced it, had an oil leak or anything else. We will see.
  15. At that price stick to the hard tail. Full suss bikes in that range are heavy 14 kg plus beasts. An Anthem or a GT Sensor are good, light, well specced bikes that will easily carry you but you are looking at around 20 - 30 k for one of those.
  16. I wish! Unfortunately we will be flying down so no bikes But we are making plans to bring the bikes down for something like the wine to whales stage race.
  17. My wife and I will pop in early Jan and come say hi. Ray
