  1. Looks like blue skys over the CBD from where I am standing here in Rosebank so all looking good!
  2. I have placed many orders with CRC over the years which if you order more than R3k worth of goods is shipped free utilising Parcel Force (their default standard shipping method) which usually arrives here in SA within 2 weeks. A while ago one of my orders was shipped using Royal Mail instead which has no tracking number and took more than 4 weeks to arrive (and based on some of my mates experiences never arrives). I then contacted them to find out how to prevent this from happening again to which they responded "just put a note in the comments box to use Parcel Force and not Royal Mail" which I have been doing ever since with no problem. I have just placed another big order which to my horror was shipped using Royal Mail and not Parcel Force even though I asked them to ship using Parcel Force in the notes section as they had instructed me to do. I need the bits in the order within 2 weeks and can not wait 4 weeks. I have now asked them to re ship the parcel using Parcel Force as I had requested and I will return the goods shipped via Royal Mail if / when it ever arrives. They have effectively told me to F@!#$%@#$%ck off What do you think I should do?
  3. thanks guys

  13. Edman, I ordered in excess of R3 000 worth of kit so qualified for free shipping and they still sent it via snail mail and not the default Parcel Force as with all previous orders of mine!!!
  14. I have ordered plenty of goods from CRC over the years and it has always been delivered very quickly to me utilising an expedited service with a tracking number. However my most recent order was sent via normal airmail with no tracking number and it took more than 3 weeks to arrive. I want to place another order with CRC but only if my package is shipped utilising the expedited service with a tracking number. If this service is not available I would rather buy the goods from my local bike shop. Have any of you guys had a similar experience with recent CRC orders?
  15. Thanks guys
  16. Have just collected my bike from my LBS having done a major service before the Epic. My bike has 2x10 SRAM XX drivetrain. They have put a new chain on and it seems too long. When it is on the small ring in the front and the small cog at the back it is very loose with the top of the chain actually resting on the chain stay and the bottom sagging significantly. The guys at the shop say this is how it is supposed to be. Any similar experiences or advice please?
  17. Where is Onion Hill? Apart from the correct gear, line and momentum you must also get your chest down close to the handlebar whcih helps a lot on techical climbs
