I was attacked in somerset west while riding, luckily I was not hurt, but since then I'm riding with a gun, north american arms .22 magnum its very small, take 5 rounds. when its in my back pocket I dont even feel it. Some people say small guns are useless, but I promise you that you wont feel lekke when I shoot you with it. Perfect for the job, I wish more people will arm themselves, the last couple of years everybody was turning their guns in, shocking....

Am I right if I say that when you run the XXgroup your only option for a rear derailr is the > R2300 XX rear derailr?

O sorry no I dont know what it cost I build it over from a hardtail so it was not done at once.

Zula: XT crank, XT casette, X9 rear derailr, XO twist shifters, Elixir CR carbon brakes, ZTR rims with A2Z hubs, SID race fork, KCNC seatpost (red), egg beater twin TI pedals, ritchey superlogic handlebar. Bike weigh 11.3kg if the scale is right... I would like to have a XTR crank and the Formula R1 brakes. I have to say I have heavy tyres on at the moment, if I have the XTR crank with the formula brakes it would be below 11kg.

I can honestly say the Zula is a great ride!!! Light if you spec it right, I had to choose between the Zula and the Volcan pro but in the end the Zula won. If you are a pro and get your bikes free or have a lot of money to spend then the lightness of a carbon frame would be nice but for the rest I think the Zula is king!!

I got a dual last week, man it feels like i'm riding on air. "once you go soft you never go hard again"

SwissVan are there any negative things you can say about your Zula except the weight, everybody seems to love the Zula.

Thanks for the comment. I know the morewood is something like 2.4-5 kg what does other dual suspensions weigh in the same price range, like the Giant Anthem, specialized epic (alloy) etc. Does anybody know the weight of the volcan fs pro frame?

Ek kyk na 'n nuwe ds raam, ek het die topic gesien oor yeti morewood en volcan. Dit lyk soos die morewood wat "wen". Ek hou van altwee. Die Volcan fs pro raam kos R23500 (R21000 kontant) en die morewood is R16500. Altwee gaan op die einde amper dieselfde kos omdat vir die morewood ek 'n nuwe seatpost en headset moet koop. Kan enige iemand die besluit makliker maak?
