  3. If you can afford a carbon bar, you can afford carbon grease. I would rather get the right stuff if I were you. If you are in cape town region (somerset west), I will give you some, you use a very very small amount of the grease at a time. But yes it does feel like vaseline with sand in it.
  4. I bought the fork this year, but I dont think its this years model. Maybe last year. How will I know?
  5. Is there anyone that can email me the service mannual for the SID (RACE) please. email is info.adventuretech@gmail.com Thanks
  7. I never go anywhere without my gun thesedays. Its like taking my cellphone with me. It small enough to just go into your pants pocket. The people that say you will not be able to use it or you will be already dead by the time you use it, that is just stupid. If there is not time to use a gun then nothing else will work anyway. Google north amrican arms .22 magnum.
  8. I think the best advice would be to go and testride the different bikes. Wheight wise it should be more or less the same. I'm going to test ride a 29er hardtail monday, just to see what all the fuss is about.
  9. Its really sad, nowadays when you buy a bike you might as well buy a weapon to go with it. Almost like an acessory to go with the package.

  14. It must have been terrible to see that. I dont know what I will do if my wife gets Hi-jacked or any of the other everyday things that happen to woman in SA. A while ago there was a thread about Hi-jackers killed while trying to hi-jack someone at the gate of there house. I think there son was in the house and overheard the commosion outside, he ran out with a gun and a couple of the hi-jackers was killed.
  15. The Fizik Gobi is a very comfortable saddle, ideal for long distance rides but I dont know what is the width. Cant comment on the one you are looking for.
  16. My wife bought me a Morewood Zula!! So I cant complain.
  17. I cant agree with you more, it is a joke but dont give up, its what they want. It took me just over four years to get my license, (handgun). It was also refused the first time so I had to appeal. I got it in the end! my hunting rifle applications was at the police station for over a year then they called me after more than a year telling me that my ID copy was not clear enough!! I thought I was going to get a heart attack!!! No they could not tell me that the first day no they had to wait more than a year!!!! It is so ridiculous just keep on until you have your lisence.
  18. Yip stanchions is the goldy part not the outside, you dont want a powder coating on your stanchions.
