  1. When I started doing club rides I killed myself to try and keep up with the guys, remember when I use to get home after a ride and just go to sleep coz I was exhausted. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Then slowly I started to be able to ride somewhere in the middle. and now the coolest thing is waiting for the guys on the top of the hills. so just cycle cycle cycle. 2. how much do you want to bet that if you hang one of these bikes here in SA it is not going to be there the next day<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  3. You can ride there I hate it lots of grass on the track so on a HT it kills your body. Our club goes there every once and a while I skip those club rides.

    why ride

I ride MTB because it is fun, It is the closest I wil ever get to feeling like a kid again, because I can have a bad day and go on my bike and really forget of all my problems, no time to think of your problems when you are hitting a trail hard. I ride because when I feel down on myself or insecure doing a ride actually makes me feel good about myself again. I ride for the great friends I have made on my rides. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I ride to spend time with my husband and to spend time by myself. I ride because even when I am not in the mood once I am on my bike I love it and am glad I decided to go for a ride. I ride to keep fit an healthy. I rid for the sense of accomplishment I get when I feel I cant go any more and I push myself to get to the top of that hill. I ride because I love it, I want to go riding now.

  7. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I want to start this thread because I do not think we know of all the Hijacking that happens so if you or one of your friends that is not on the Hub was hijacked please let us know Where and When It happened and how many attackers were involved and if they were armed. I personally know of 3 hijacking that were never mentioned on the hub and I think we can better protect ourselves if we know what is going on and maybe start to better identify danger areas so please be specific as to where you were hijacked
  8. Hi Wannabe I don't think CM was stirring I think he gave his honest opinion tires is a very personal thing and what work for one does not work for another depends largely on you riding style. I have ridden with R100 tires and found them very nice and then splurged on R600 tires and found them so so until my riding improved and then they were awesome.
  9. https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=82123 I would say this bike is a very good deal if you ride a 17.5" frame. You will not get a new bike for even close to the same spec if I was buying my fist bike and was looking new or second hand around R5000 the Scott woud be mine.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
